The third trailer for the upcoming October 6, 2023 television series Keikenzumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai Suru Hanashi (The Story of Dating Where You Are Experience But I'm Not) was released today by the ENGL studio.
The anime, Kimizero, will be a standard teenage romance that doesn't veer too far from stereotypes, though it might appeal to some lovers of the subgenre. The narrative will center on Ryuuto Kashima, a bashful young guy without any prior romantic experience who was compelled to confess to Runa Shirakawa, one of the prettiest students, as a result of losing a bet.
However, he does not imagine that, despite her beauty and happy appearance, Runa suffered betrayals from her previous boyfriends and therefore carries emotional scars. Due to these experiences, she has a distorted notion of her own value and does not care about being treated as an object girl. Contrary to expectations, Runa agrees to go out with Ryuuto and they both start doing common activities like
studying or going to the beach. Living together strengthens ties, however other people will be against the relationship. The staff will include direction by Hideaki Ohba (directed "Koroshi Ai"), script by Hiroko Fukuda (wrote for "Amanchu! Advance") and character design by Yousuke Ito (same role in "Tantei wa Mou, Shindeiru"). In the dubbing, Ryuuto will be voiced by Natsuke Hanae (Tanjirou from "Kimetsu no Yaiba"), Runa will be played by Saori Oonishi (Akari from "Fuufu Ijou, Koibito Miman"), Nikoru will be voiced by Ayaka Fukuhara (Kamiya from "Kawaii Dake Ja Nai Shikimori-san") and Akari will be voiced by Tomori Kusunoki (Annett from "Spy Kyoushitsu").
