Shin no Nakama's second season will air in the winter of 2024.

The sequel to Shin no Nakama Ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, which was announced 11 months ago, has gotten a new trailer announcing its start date of January 2024. 

The series received its first anime in 2021, and despite the unoriginal premise, terrible villains, and simple animation, the story's romance pairing won over some admirers. The adaptation also helped to boost sales of the light novel/manga, which had reached 2.2 million copies by the end of last year.

Shin no Nakama tells the story of Red, the older brother of the heroine Ruth, who fights against the evil king seeking to bring peace to the land. He, however, appears increasingly weaker in relation to his companions until one day he is expelled from the group. Disappointed, Red abandons the mission and chooses to open a herb and potion shop on the border of Zoltan. 

There he lives in peace with the local people including the adventurous princess Rit with whom he forms a couple. The world, however, is full of problems and this will affect both of their lives. Season 2 must maintain production from Flad and Wolfsbane studios covering the work of authors Zappon (text) and Yasumo (illustrations). The voice cast includes names like Ryouta Suzuki (Red), Kanon Takao (Rit) and Naomi Oozora (Rute).
