Tokidoki Bosotto Roshiago De Dereru's perpetrators Tonari No Arya-san (Arya-san Who Sits Next to and Sometimes Speaks in Russian) unveiled the first image with the design that would be utilized in the episodes today. 

The animation, which was confirmed 6 months ago, is produced by Doga Kobo and directed and scripted by Ryouta Ito (he directed "Kawaii Dake Ja Nai Shikimori-san"). The young adult novel, dubbed Roshidere, will depict the narrative of Arya, a gorgeous Russian adolescent who is now attending high school in Japan.

She sits next to young Kuze Masachika and, interested in him, sometimes utters phrases that she wouldn't say in Japanese. Arya however does not imagine that Masachika understands the Russian language and understands what she is saying. The title is inspired by the light novel by authors Sun Sansan (text) and Haru Momoco (illustrations) which exceeded 500,000 copies sold in the first 5 books (Note: This number includes the manga drawn by Tapioka).

 Still on the technical team, Yuhei Murota will be responsible for character design and animation direction (he held the same position in "Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi"). In the dubbing, Masachika will be voiced by Kohei Amasaki (Neito from "Boku no Hero Academia") while Arya will be played by Sumire Uesaka (Lum from "Urusei Yatsura Remake").
