Undead Unluck, which will premiere on TV and streaming on October 6, 2023, has received yet another trailer from David Production and TMS Entertainment.
The eagerly anticipated 13-month series will focus on Yoshifumi Tozuka's manga, which sold over 1.4 million copies in its first 14 volumes.
The plot, which combines comedy, action, and adventure, will follow young Fuuko Izumo, who is said to be cursed because she brings bad luck to anybody who touches her.
One day she encounters Andy, an undead man in search of eternal rest. He sees the girl's misfortune as a way to achieve his goal and they both embark on a long adventure, fulfilling the missions from the "Book of Revelations". If they fail, humanity will suffer the consequences.
The anime will be directed by Yuki Yase (directed "Enen no Shouboutai"), music by Kenichiro Suehiro (composed for "Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!") and character design by Hideyuki Morioka (he was animation director on "Enen no Shouboutai" ).
In the dubbing, Fuuko will be played by Moe Kahara (Akari from "Shokei Shoujo no Virgin Road"), Andy will be voiced by Yuichi Nakamura (Satoru Gojo from "Jujutsu Kaisen"), Void will be voiced by Kenji Nomura (Ushiyama from "Golden Kamuy") and Shen will be voiced by Natsuki Hanae (Tanjirou from "Kimetsu no Yaiba").
