Studio P.A.Works released another trailer yesterday for its new original film Komada Jouryuusho e Youkoso (Welcome to the Komada Family Distillery).

Premiering on November 10, 2023, the film will initially be exclusive to Japanese cinemas, with no guarantee of streaming in the West. The new video highlights the theme song to be performed by voice actress Saori Hayami, who will also voice the protagonist Rui Komada.

The story will follow Kotaro, editor of a news website, visiting the Komada family's whiskey distillery. There he meets Rui, a young woman who recently took over as president of the business. She harbors the desire to resume production of Koma whiskey, the company's trademark that was a symbol of happiness for her father and grandfather. Production is currently interrupted due to several issues, including financial ones.

Rui, Kotaro and other employees join forces to make the dream come true. The film will be directed by Masayuki Yoshihara (directed "Uchouten Kazoku"), script by Yukito Kizawa and Muneo Nakamoto (both wrote for "Sword Art Online: Alicization") and character design by Tomoki Takada. Other names include animation direction by Kousuke Kawatsura (same role on "Sirius The Jaeger") and soundtrack by Tatsuya Kato (composed for "Dr. Stone").

In the dubbing, in addition to Hayami, the cast will have Kotaro played by Kensho Ono (Canute from "Vinland Saga"), Yasumoto voiced by Yoshimasa Hosoya (Kaina from "Ooyukiumi no Kaina") and Tomoko voiced by Maaya Uchida (Shinobu from "Urusei Yatsura Remake").
