Schedules for Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari begin in the next Winter

Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari, 結婚指輪物語, Tales of Wedding Rings

wo new teasers for the characters Sato and Krystal were released by the Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari (The Story of the Wedding Ring) production team today. The nine-month-old confirmed anime will make its premiere in January 2024 and be made by Staple Entertainment. This common studio was in charge of the adaptation of "Kinsou no Vermeil" the previous year.

Kekkon Yubiwa will tell the story of young Sato who, as a child, had a supernatural encounter with a girl named Krystal Novaty Nokanatika, who suddenly appeared in a flash of light. Ten years later they are in high school and are good friends. Sato is in love but has never confessed his feelings, in addition to being intrigued by the two wedding rings that Krystal carries with her everywhere.

During a summer festival he finds the strength to declare himself, but the girl says she will leave the next day. Investigating a new flash of light Sato finds her friend traveling to another world through a portal. By following her he will discover truths about the girl's origins. The anime will cover the manga by the duo Rinrin (text) and Maybe (drawings), which surpassed 1.3 million copies sold in the initial 12 volumes. In the dubbing, Sato will be voiced by Gen Sato (Kou Yamori from "Yofukashi no Uta") while Krystal will be played by Akari Kito (Erika from "Kakkou no Iinazuke"). Fun fact: Two previous Rinrin and Maybe mangas received anime in the past: "Tasogare Otome x Amnesia" and "Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi E" (images of both at the end).
