Dead Dead Demon's Dededede Destruction, which was announced five months ago, has a fresh visual indicating its release in Japan Spring 2024 (between April and June).
To accompany it in this way, the anime will play a bucket of ice-cold water that it tints but won't be episodic with weekly TV/Streaming airings.
The work will be covered in 2 films initially showing exclusively in two Japanese cinemas.
The long-metragens will be counted by the Production +H studio covering Inio Asano's manga
currently with 12 printed volumes.
The story will follow the teenagers Ouran Nakagawa (Otan) and Kadode Koyama, two common
students who go to school, interact with their friends and lead a normal life, now that a
large spaceship has been floating around Tokyo for 3 years.
Since then, Japan and the world have lived at war against the invaders, but Ouran believes
that the greatest enemies of Earth are no longer aliens but just human beings.
The staff for two films will include general direction by Tomoyuki Kurokawa (directed
"Bokura no Yoake"), script by Reiko Yoshida (she wrote for "Deaimon"), and design/animation
supervision by Nobutake Ito (was animation director on "Ping Pong The Animation").
