The first stage of Dr. Stone: New World (or Dr. Stone: Season 3), including 11 episodes, aired between April and June of this year.

According to a video broadcast today in Japan, the anime took a brief vacation of three months to prepare the second story arc, which will launch on October 12, 2023.

The plot will reveal what happens when Senku and his companions explore a secret island that is inhabited by adversaries who are not at all amused by their visit.
 

For those who don't know Dr. Stone mixes comedy, shonen adventure and a pinch of science fiction, presenting the saga of a young man seen as a science genius and a living library of knowledge.

Upon awakening thousands of years in the future, Senku finds that all of humanity has been petrified by an unknown phenomenon, leading technology and civilization to ruin. Along with new friends, he's determined to bring humanity back to its former glory with a lot of creativity and a little mad scientist.

The series is directed by Shuuhei Matsushita bringing in the dubbing names like Yuusuke Kobayashi (Senku), Gen Sato (Chrome), Manami Numakura (Kohaku), Kana Ichinose (Yuzuriha) and Karin Takahashi (Suika).
